The day after her second place in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, the Italian national champion has reached the same result in the race which took place in Tielt-Winge (Belgium), the Spar Omloop Van Het Hageland, won by the Dutch Lorena Wiebes with a bunch sprint.
The team is inspired after the big performance of yesterday, and the line-up starts with big target, and the n.1 for Marta Bastianelli as the last race winner. During the race various teams, especially Trek-Segafredo, tried many attacks, but they have been all denied even with some cobbled sectors in the race, and the victory has been decided in a sprint, where the former World and European Champion arrived a few centimetres away from the “double”. In 15th place arrived Eugenia Bujak: The Slovenian champion confirmed her great moment, including the amazing 7th placement in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
