Jesse Vandenbulcke joins Human Powered Health

Jesse Vandenbulcke

Former Belgian national champion Jesse Vandenbulcke has joined Human Powered Health for the 2023 season. Originally contracted to Le Col-Wahoo, when that team suffered the loss of a name sponsor, they had to cut riders. Vandenbulcke joins Marjolein van ‘t Geloof who was in the same boat by moving to the American Human Powered Health team. They have announced that Vandenbulcke will be their final signing and their roster is now complete for the 2023 season.

“I am happy to become part of Human Powered Health as it continues to grow to a higher level. I am really looking forward to having new experiences.

I like the climbs in those classics. Races with cold, rain and wind are my type of races,”

Jesse Vandenbulcke

Whilst it’s the first season at the Women’s WorldTour level for Vandenbulcke after previous years at Doltcini-Van Eyck and Lotto Soudal Ladies, the Human Powered Health team has their work cut out to remain at that level after 2023. The lowest-ranked WWT team at the end of the 2022 season, they will need a heap of points in 2023 to make up their joint total. Ahead of them are the likes of AG Insurance-NXTG and Ceratizit-WNT who are both keen to join the WWT. Their recruitment this off-season will help them, however, with a solid mix of race finishers like Alice Barnes, Daria Pikulik, Marjolein van ‘t Geloof and Vandenbulcke now on the team.
