Human Powered Health has unveiled a striking new kit for the upcoming 2025 season, alongside a refreshed roster that will see them competing for a fourth year in the Women’s WorldTour. The reveal took place following a team camp in Almeria, Spain, where the squad showcased the revamped design and confirmed 16 of the 17 riders for the upcoming season.
Ruth Edwards returns as the team leader after an impressive 2024 season that included two podium finishes at the Giro d’Italia Women and an overall victory at the Thüringen Ladies Tour. Daria Pikulik, one of the standout riders from last season with six UCI podiums, including wins at the Ronde de Mouscron and Argenta Classic, will continue to play a key role. Joining Pikulik is Canadian Maggie Coles-Lyster, a track specialist with a strong one-day racing pedigree.
The squad also welcomes new signings Yurani Blanco, Carlotta Cipressi, Thalita de Jong, and Kathrin Schweinberger. The final spot on the roster is set to be filled by a “multiple world champion,” according to Communications Director Oskar Scarsbrook. “We have one last rider to announce in the new year,” Scarsbrook stated. “We’re excited for this final addition to the squad. She brings a whole lot of firepower to complete the roster for 2025.”
Returning riders include mid-2024 signing Giada Borghesi, Maëlle Grossetête, Romy Kasper, Barbara Malcotti, Wiktoria Pikulik, Marit Raaijmakers, Katia Ragusa, Lily Williams, and Silvia Zanardi, rounding out a strong 17-rider team.
New kit to debut at Tour Down Under
The team’s updated kit, designed by Circuit Sport and manufactured by Pactimo, will debut at the Santos Tour Down Under, which runs from 17-19th January. The design features an enhanced orange and purple gradient, maintaining the signature “wavelength” pattern across the chest. Notably, the “boltman” symbol now dominates the back of the jersey, with the Human Powered Health name displayed prominently below.
Chief Creative Officer Sam Wiebe explained the design philosophy behind the new kit. “We wanted to keep things simple for 2025. We have always considered the logo placements themselves the most important aspect of a kit design,” Wiebe said. “We love our colours, and as Human Powered Health continues to build Performance Labs around the U.S., this colour palette gets more and more visible, more and more associated with the look and feel of our brand.”
Wiebe praised the collaborative efforts of the design team, saying, “Art Director Emily Saint.Onge and I have designed kits together for half a decade. We never get tired of working with this gradient and this fantastic logo.”
Sponsor recognition central to design
In addition to the bold gradient and logo enhancements, the kit prominently features the logos of key sponsors such as Wahoo, Pactimo, Black Inc, Factor Bikes, and HumanGO, an AI-driven digital training platform. Long-time supporters Acura and Kelly Benefits also retain their spots on the front of the jersey.
“The placement of partner logos is always a top priority,” Wiebe noted. “It’s about showcasing their support for our programme in a crisp, clean way. We believe our 2025 kit adheres well to this principle.”
The team’s first competitive outing in the vibrant new kit is just a month away, along with the final rider announcement that promises to bring added firepower to the squad.
