Trofeo Oro in Euro has confirmed that UAE Team ADQ is set to field a formidable line-up for the 2025 edition. The Tuscan race, scheduled for 9th March 2025, will see the teamโ€™s leading riders, including Elisa Longo Borghini, Silvia Persico, and Karlijn Swinkels, fresh from their Stage+ GC win at the UAE Tour Women, where they secured first, second, and fifth in the general classification + the sprints jersey with Lara Gillespie.

UAE Team ADQ has a good history at the Trofeo Oro in Euro already, having won in 2022 with Sofia Bertizzolo. Lidl-Trek then took over in 2023 with a one-two from Gaia Realini and Amanda Spratt before Longo Borghini secured her solo victory in 2024, ahead of her current teammate Swinkels. This year, the team returns with additional firepower, adding Brodie Chapman, Alena Amialiusik, and Dominika Wlodarczyk to its squad, confirming its ambitions to win the one-day race again this year.

The Trofeo Oro in Euro has grown in stature year after year, and the 2025 edition is set to feature a very competitive field. Ruth Edwards from Human Powered Health, third in 2024, will be back to challenge for the podium. Canyon SRAM brings Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig and Neve Bradbury, the latter having finished third at the 2024 Giro dโ€™Italia Women. Pauliena Rooijakkers from Fenix-Deceuninck is also confirmed, bringing her stage race credentials after finishing third at the Tour and fourth at the Giro last season. Former cyclocross champion Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado is another notable addition.

Several rising talents and experienced pros will be looking to make an impact. Ceratizit-WNT will field Sandra Alonso and Sara Fiorin, while Morgane Coston from Roland looks to be that team’s strongest rider. Australian champion Lucinda Stewart from Liv AlUla Jayco and Solbjรธrk Anderson from Uno-X Mobility are also expected to be at the start. Italian hopes rest on Arianna Fidanza, Silvia Zanardi, Letizia Borghesi, and Barbara Malcotti, all eager to emulate the success of Longo Borghini and Persico.

Fans can follow the action live, with the final two hours available via streaming on the eventโ€™s official YouTube channel.
