The Women’s WorldTour is the top tier of professional women’s road cycling, bringing together the strongest teams and riders in the sport across a global calendar of races. Sanctioned by the UCI, it features one-day Classics and multi-day stage races held in Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East, with events such as Strade Bianche, Paris-Roubaix Femmes, the Tour de France Femmes, and the Giro d’Italia Women forming its backbone.
From 2026, Women’s WorldTour teams are required to contest every round on the calendar bar one, ensuring consistent participation from the peloton’s leading names, while the points system rewards performance across the entire season rather than a single headline event. The series has grown rapidly in recent years, both in sporting depth and visibility, reflecting higher minimum salaries, longer race distances, and greater broadcast coverage, and it now serves as the benchmark for elite women’s road racing worldwide.
